About
Tour De End of Summer began as a personal bike trip at the end of summer and before school started to see if I could ride from my mom's house in West Palm Beach to my dad's house in Juno Beach. The event has evolved into a 36 mile round trip bike ride marking the end of summer and taking 6 hours to finish. The bike ride happens in the last weeks of August. The day is determined by the weather but normally falls on the 2nd Saturday of August. The ride is 18 miles each way going from West Palm Beach to Juno Beach, Fl. It starts at Saint Catherine’s Geek Orthodox Church located at 110 Southern Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33405. It goes all the way to the Juno Beach Fishing Pier located at 14775 U.S. Highway 1, Juno Beach, FL 33408. Each way is about 2 hours with a 2 hour potluck lunch at the park near the Juno Beach Pier in between the rides. The lunch is provided by the riders in conjunction with Tour De End of Summer. We eat what everyone brings. See the volunteer potluck form for more information. This will mark our 6th year running with hopes of this being our best year ever. All style of bikes are welcome to ride. This is not a race, just an epic ride with good people along the waterfront of West Palm Beach, Rivera Beach, Singer Island, North Palm, PGA, and Juno Beach.
